August 2012 ~ Sarah Jean Deon, granddaughter
of the lodge's first charter member, Pasquale Deon, was awarded the 2011 Pasquale Deon and Thomas McCormick Memorial
Scholarship at the August 4th meeting! Sarah will be attending Kutztown University in the fall. Sarah wrote an essay on DaVinci.
She is the daughter of Mark and Denise Deon, sister of Angela Deon, scholarship recipient 2006 Scholarship.

Ann Deon, president of the Pasquale Deon Lodge #2687 was elected to serve as District 1 Trustee of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania Order Sons of Italy in America at their 51st Biennial Convention held at the Lancaster Hotel and Resort.
